A small southwestern
adobe style fireplace using the center portion of a Sequoia tree as the design element for the fire screen, with a branch and pine cone acting as the
door handles. The
fire screen is fully self-supported and functions within the fireplace opening. The
grate was designed as a small platform which lifts out when cleaning the fireplace. Surface finish is faux
Florentine gold with a black wash.
