Finished gas log grate showing: hearth effects burner (front of grate), burner tubes and tray, and log tees. Log tees are used to hold the ceramic logs above the burner system, and can be adjusted (up & down) via a threaded rod. The grate has a surface treatment of black heat resistant paint. The burner trays will be fill with vermiculite, and the flames will burn just above its surface.
