FABRICATION OF GAS LOG GRATE w/ HEARTH BURNER

The project comes from a fireplace designer for a client in Michigan. Shop drawings and material specifications were developed for approval. The design of grate has evolved with the fireplace designer over several years. There were several grates to the order but, this is the largest one.   SIZE:  82.0" X 21-3/4" X 15-1/4".  SURFACE FINISH:  painted black

MATERIAL:  1-1/4" sq sawn CR bar stock (grate) -- formed 1/8" HR plate (burner trays)-- 1-1/4 sq x 6.0" sawn truncated pyramids (spires)-- 1/2" SS bar stock (log tees) -- 3/4" sch40 pipe drilled for gas ports (burner tubes) -- various laser cut parts (burner tray hearth burner)
