DESCRIPTION:
A pivoting font cover designed for an existing wooden baptismal font.
- The cover was to have a "Palladian influence" and to incorporate symbolism relating to the
- Order of Dominican Monks. The parts have been laser cut then fitted and welded. All welds
- are ground to form a smooth transition between the member parts. Surface treatment is
- electroplated antique brass that has been hand relieved and sealed.
