FACTORS OF PROJECT COST

DESIGN TIME

Design time is charged to all aspects in the development of a project's design concept.

Sketches and written descriptions are submitted to the client for approval. After design

approval, fabrication costs are estimated and submitted to the client for approval.

FABRICATION

Fabrication costs include: drafting of working drawings, materials, hardware, subcontractor

participation, fabrication labor time, detailing labor time, surface finish labor time, shipping,

and/or delivery.

CHANGE ORDERS

Change order costs are based upon the amount of time and materials consumed by the change.

HOURLY RATES

                                                          Design Time: Forty-five dollars ($45.) per hour.

                                                                                               Drafting Time: Twenty-five dollars ($25.) per hour.

                                                         TRAVEL: These travel policies are applied when on site visitation is required by the client for

design consultation or delivery:

Twenty-five dollars ($25.) per hour travel time is charged for self-driving time OR, ground

                                                                    transportation, and air time.

                                                                  Forty-five dollars ($45) per hour is charged as design time for face-to-face onsite meeting time.

                                                                  Travel Expenses include thirty-one cents per mile of self driving, or, round trip coach airfare for two,

ground transportation and parking via taxi or rental car as approved, hotel accommodations as necessary

and approved, and meals as necessary not to exceed seventy-five dollars ($75) per day.

PAYMENTS

RETAINER

A minimum retainer of one hundred and fifty dollars ($150.) is required to begin the design process for a

project. The retainer is non-refundable, but will be credited to the project cost.

DESIGN TIME

The hours of design time accrued during a month are billed to the client at the first of the following month.

TRAVEL TIME

Estimated travel time and expenses are to be paid prior to departure.

FABRICATION

Execution of the project begins with payment of one-half (1/2) of the project cost.

FINAL PAYMENT

Outstanding balance of Project Cost is due prior to shipping or, at the time we deliver the project.
