The wood rack is designed to hold approximately 70 lbs of wood for one firing of the TULIVIKI soapstone fireplace. The wood rack is hand built from 1 1/4" square stock. The spires are sawn from 1 1/4" square bar stock to form a truncated pyramid 6" tall. The base of the wood rack is flush ground then wire brushed. A clear lacquer is applied for the top coat. The wood rack is signed, but not numbered.
