DESCRIPTION:
A unitized fire screen, andirons, and grate
for
a Rumford
- style fireplace. The "Stag and Ivy" design was laser cut then the leaves are hand
-
formed and detailed. The Art Deco style andirons were
laid up from flat bar stock,
- and are bolted to the grate which acts as a counterweight providing a stable base for
- the
components. The frames on each end of the fire screen are hinged and rotate open
- to load and clean
the fireplace. The surface treatment is a simple dark tone faux finish
- with antique brass highlights. All welds have been detailed by either flush or die grinding.
